The Gold von Lampoding (also Goldt, Lampolding, Lampoting) were an aristocratic family from Salzburg that came to Austria and was first raised to the baron status in 1623 by Emperor Ferdinand II .

history

The gold was Ausfergen , these were shipmen with episcopal service who originally drove as guides on the ships themselves, whereby they were liable for the ship. Later they expanded their position of power for the transport of the salt upstream from Laufen until Cardinal Matthäus Lang reduced the 40 families from 30 families to just four. These families rose to the Salzburg nobility and received the title Erbausferge . In a document dated February 1, 1531, Hanns Gold zu Lampoting, Wolfganng, Hanns, Eraßem, Sebastian and Eustachi, and Golden zu Lampoting 's rights as hereditary sires, are confirmed.

At the end of the 15th century, the castle and lordship of Lampoding (today Kirchanschöring , Traunstein district ) acquired the gold and sold them to Perner von Rettenwörth in 1570 . Sebastian Gold von Lampoding was lord of Senfteneck ( Senftenegg ) in 1550 . Emeram (Haimeran) Gold von Lampoding , Passau's keeper in Mautern , bought the noble estate Grillenhöfe (near Gerersdorf ) in 1576 , which his sons Erasmus and Wolfgang Rudolph inherited in 1586. In 1614 Wolfgang Rudolph Gold von Lampoding was court counselor and real chamberlain of Archduke Leopold , then Bishop of Strasbourg and Passau. Erasmus Gold von Lampoding was a doctor of both rights, most recently Hofkammerrat in Passau and Landuntermarschall von Austria unter der Enns . His son Andreas Leopold handed over the Parschenbrunn estate to his sister Barbara Ämilia and her husband Christoph Ehrenreich Geyer von Edelbach in 1635 and entered the service of the Prince of Salzburg. After him, the male line of his line did not appear in Lower Austria.
