Erasmus Gold from Lampoding
Erasmus Gold von Lampoding auf Senfteneck (* around 1550; † August 10, 1623 ) was a Salzburg nobleman and Lower Austrian sub-marshal .
Life
Erasmus Gold von Lampoding auf Senfteneck was the son of Ritter Emeram (Haimeran) Gold von Lampoding (today Kirchanschöring ), caretaker of Mautern , and Amalia von Trenbach (Trennbach), sister of the Passau prince-bishop Urban von Trennbach . Erasmus completed his studies in Prague , Dole and Padua with the Doctor iuris . In 1572 he became a Passau councilor and court master , from 1605 to 1612 he was court marshal, then court chamber councilor in Passau. Later he was also a member of the Lower Austrian provincial rights and from 1616 a caretaker in Schwadorf and an imperial court chamber councilor. In 1617 Erasmus became a regimental councilor and in December 1618, Lower Austria's Landuntermarschall until his death in 1623, he was also the councilor of Archduke Leopold's . Shortly before his death, Erasmus Gold was given the status of baron by Emperor Ferdinand II on August 3, 1623 . He is buried (like his relatives) in Unser Frauen Stiegen in Vienna.
Erasmus was married first to Anna Maria Güld von Güldenrain (probably Goldrain Castle ) and then to Maria Jacobea von Pinzenau . Johann Gottlieb, Gottfried Erasmus and Franz Gotthard grew out of his first marriage; from the second Johann Christoph, Andreas Leopold, Barbara Aemilia and Georg Aurelius.
Erasmus Gold was the master of Parschenbrunn , Veste Grafendorf and Spillern .
