Karl Leopold Friedrich Moser von Ebreichsdorf , from 1765 Freiherr (born October 16, 1688 ; † November 3, 1770 in Vienna ) was Lower Austrian sub-marshal .

Life

Karl Leopold Friedrich was the son of Max Ferdinand Ritter von Moser (born June 3, 1632) and Maria Clara von Grüner, widowed von Ankerskron . From 1709 to 1711 he toured Germany, the Netherlands, Holland and England. In 1712 he became a real Lower Austrian government councilor and in 1713 President of the Post Commission in Vienna. 1729 he was by Emperor Karl VI. appointed Lower Austrian Land-Sub-Marshal . He was involved in the founding of the Savoy Academy on the Laimgrube in Vienna, which later became the k. k. Theresianum (now the Gymnasium Theresianum ) was significantly involved. Karl Leopold Friedrich successfully managed several foundations.

On October 6, 1764, in recognition of his services, he was appointed a secret councilor, and at the same time he was removed from his position as sub-marshal, an office he held for 35 years. Karl Leopold Friedrich von Moser and his descendants were elevated to the status of baron on January 26, 1765 .

In 1732 he acquired the Achau rulership with the Riedenhof and in 1756 the Guntramsdorf rulership ; the establishment of a Fideikommiss over these goods was not approved by the emperor.

He married Maria Theresa von Cischini († 1742) on November 11, 1714, with whom he had 18 children. On August 12, 1743, he married Maria Katharina von Brockhof and had two children.
