Franz Xaver von Aichen

Franz Xaver Freiherr von Aichen (born September 13, 1788 in Vienna ; † 1856 ) was an Austrian civil servant.

Life

Franz Xaver Freiherr von Aichen was the son of Joseph von Aichen , most recently deputy president of the court commission and in 1816 promoted to baron. In 1828 Franz Xaver became court councilor at the kk general court chamber and later section head in the kk finance ministry. From 1832 to 1848 Franz Xaver Freiherr von Aichen was Lower Austrian sub-marshal and president of the knighthood.

Since his marriage remained childless, Franz Ritter von Mitis , Lieutenant at the Duke of Braunschweig-Cuirassier Regiment No. 7 , was adopted as his son and on June 2, 1852 he was given the baron status with the title "von Aichen".
