Johann Ernst II of Hatzenberg

Johann Ernest II of Hatzenberg and Cronberg (*; † December 21, 1717 ) was a nobleman and Lower Austrian sub-marshal .

Life

Johann Ernest II von Hatzenberg and Cronberg was the son of Johann Ernst I and Juliana Katharina Matuschkin. Johann Ernest II was a member of the Lower Austrian regional rights assessor at a young age, in 1685 he became a regimental councilor, from 1693 to 1699 a member of the knighthood and was then on the committee. From 1713 to 1717 he was Lower Austrian Landuntermarschall, as well as Colonel-Hofstabelmeister of Joseph I and Karl VI. Johann Ernest and his descendants were made baron in 1715, but he did not assume this status himself. He is buried in the Augustiner Hofkirche in Vienna. He was Herr von Immendorf .

His wife was Maria Franziska Rebecca Spändl von Plessenrott († 1724). Several children were born from the marriage, but only Joseph Ernest († 1720) and Maria Franziska Antonia († 1733) survived, who then inherited the rule of Immendorf.
