Christoph Greiss zu Wald (also von Greissen) (* 1563 ; † November 19, 1617 ) was a nobleman and Lower Austrian sub-marshal .

Life

Christoph the Younger Greiss zu Wald was the son of Christoph (the elder) Greiss, († 1576) kk Oberstabelmeister and Lower Austrian Regimental Councilor , and Maria Magdalena Freiin von Khuen-Belásy . He remained in the knighthood and was master of Gföhl and Pielahaag . From 1587 he was the Lower Austrian district administrator and from 1609 until his death he was sub-marshal.

As a Protestant, he signed the Horner Bund in 1608 .

He was married three times, but only two daughters survived.
