Kiril Donchev

Kiril Georgiew Dontschew , Bulgarian Кирил Дончев (born February 21, 1936 in Burgas , Bulgaria ) is a Bulgarian composer and conductor .

Life

After Kiril Donchev had finished his music studies at the State Conservatory in Sofia in 1959 , he worked as a conductor with the orchestra in Burgas for three years until 1962. He then worked from 1962 to 1971 as a conductor and composer at the Military Theater, from 1972 to 1988 at the Sofia Theater and in 1989 for a year at the Ivan Vazov National Theater . In total he wrote the music for over 240 theater productions and was responsible as a composer for 60 films from the mid-1960s.
