Hans Adt

Hans Adt (born December 14, 1888 in Forbach , Reichsland Alsace-Lorraine , † April 6, 1980 in Bad Orb ) was a German paper industrialist.

Life

Hans Adt was born the son of the industrialist Gustav Jacob Adt . After attending the secondary school in Saarbrücken , he began to study at the Technical University of Munich . In 1908 he was reciprocated in the Corps Suevia Munich . When he was inactive , he moved to the Technical University of Charlottenburg . After completing his studies as a Dipl.-Ing. in administration he made his first professional experience at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Mannheim and at MAN in Nuremberg. He then joined his father's company, Gebrüder Adt, in Forbach in 1918. After the expropriation of the Lorraine headquarters and the Lorraine factories in 1919 by the French state, Adt became a board member of Gebr. Adt AG and head of the Wächtersbach plant, which had been the headquarters of the paper group since 1920. In addition to the management of Gebr. Adt AG, Hans Adt was managing director of Adt-Karcher-Gutsverwaltung GmbH and member of the supervisory board of the worsted yarn spinning mill in Kaiserslautern and the Palatinate sewing machine factory vorm. Keyser Brothers. Adt was a member of the executive board of industrial associations and the inquiry committee of the paper processing industry. In Bad Orb he lived in the Orbtal house.
