The Kirkby Pool is a watercourse in the Lake District , Cumbria , England .
The Kirkby Pool is being created as a Steers Pool and initially flows in a south-westerly direction. At the hamlet of Bridge End it changes its name to Kirkby Pool and later changes its direction to the south. At Kirkby-in-Furness, the Kirby Pool flows into the mouth of the River Duddon .
The Duddon Mosses Site of Special Scientific Interest is west of the Kirkby Pool and east of the River Duddon.
