The Kishtwar Shivling is a mountain in the Kishtwar Himalayas , a mountain region in the western Himalayas in the Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir .
The 5935 m high glaciated mountain is located in the Kishtwar National Park in the Kishtwar District . The Kishtwar Kailash is located north of the Dharlang river valley , a right tributary of the Chanab .
The Kishtwar Shivling was first climbed on September 11, 1983 by the two Britons Stephen Venables and Dick Renshaw .
The 5,895 m high east summit of Kishtwar Shivling was climbed on October 1, 2014 by Stephan Siegrist , Andreas Abegglen and Thomas Senf .
