The Kispiox River is an approximately 150 km long orographic right tributary of the Skeena River in the northwest of the Canadian province of British Columbia .
The Kispiox River has its source in the Skeena Mountains , which form part of the British Columbia Interior . It initially flows 10 km to the northwest and then turns south and south-southeast. It finally flows into the Skeena River 10 km north of Hazelton . The headwaters and the upper reaches are in Swan Lake Kispiox River Provincial Park .
The catchment area of the Kispiox River covers about 2080 km². The mean discharge 14 km above the mouth is 44.7 m³ / s. The months of May and June are the most draining.
