Kitty Jantzen

Kitty Jantzen (born June 21, 1909 , † June 20, 1984 in St. Moritz , Canton of Graubünden ) was a German actress who worked in the adventure films The Tiger of Eschnapur (1938) and The Indian Tomb (1938), among others .

Life

After Lee Parry, Kitty Jantzen was the second wife of director Richard Eichberg , under whose direction she appeared in five films between 1936 and 1938. She made her film debut in 1936 in the female lead as "Christa Lessner" in It's about my life , in which she played alongside Karl Ludwig Diehl and Theo Lingen .

Together with her husband, she made the two adventure films The Tiger of Eschnapur and The Indian Tomb in 1938 . In it she played the role of "Irene Traven" with La Jana as "Sitha, Maharani of Esnapur" and Frits van Dongen as "Chandra, Maharajah of Esnapur" in other leading roles. She also starred in the French-language versions of these two films, Le tigre du Bengale and Le tombeau hindou , also shot by her husband Richard Eichberg in 1938 . After that, she did not appear in any other films.
