Kitty Swan

Kitty Swan (born May 25, 1943 in Copenhagen , actually Kirsten Svanholm ) is a Danish ex- actress who took part in numerous films in the 1960s and 1970s.

Live and act

Kitty Swan played her first film roles in the spaceship Alpha - The Planet of the Damned and Io, io, io… e gli altri , released in 1965 and 1966 . The roles, however, were so insignificant that she wasn't named in the credits.

She made frequent appearances in agent films in the months to come. In these, too, she mostly only played small roles like in Weapon of the Devil and was not mentioned in the credits like in Hot Cats , where she plays one of the assassins, or in Operation "Little Brother" , an agent film with Sean Connerys' younger brother and many others former James Bond cast members .

Her appearance in My Name is John Harris caused some publicity when the “Continental Film Review” magazine in the UK printed some photos from the film showing Kitty Swan with her film partner Franco Nero .

In the 1967 published The Jungle Girl (original title: Gungala la vergine della giungla ) Swan played the main role of Gungala, which she repeated in the sequel Gungala la pantera nuda 1968. That same year she made an uncredited appearance in Barbarella .

After her leading roles as "jungle girl " she played similar roles in the two films Tarzán en la gruta del oro and Tarzán y el arco iris . While the latter film was being made, Kitty Swan and male lead actor Steve Hawkes were injured and burned in an accident. These injuries ultimately resulted in Kitty Swan ending her film career.

In 1971 a single was released, which she sang in a duet with Toma Zdravković .
