The Kjøfjord ( Sami Njávdánvuotna ) is a fjord arm of the Varangerfjord in Sør-Varanger in Troms og Finnmark in Norway . The fjord extends over 32 km to the southwest to the place Munkefjord at the head of the Munkefjord .

The fjord flows between Čoahkenjárga in the west and the island of Kjøøya in the east. The outer half of the fjord runs along the west side of the island of Skogerøya . There are only scattered settlements on this part of the fjord, none of which have a road connection. Here is the Spurvfjord , a small branch on the west side. The inner part of the fjord, where Skogerøya ends and the fjord runs through the mainland, is sometimes called the Neidenfjord . Here the east side is a little more densely populated. On the west side the river Neidenelva ( Finnish Näätämöjoki ) flows into the fjord. The innermost part of the fjord from the mouth of the river to Munkefjord is called Munkefjord.

The E6 runs along the east side of the fjord.
