The kkStB series of tenders 66 was a series of tenders of the kkStB , whose tenders were originally also procured for the Lemberg-Chernivtsi-Jassy Railway (LCJE) and for numerous local railways not listed here.
The kkStB procured these tenders for its locomotives from 1896 onwards. They were supplied in large numbers by Ringhoffer in Prague , the Wiener Neustädter Lokomotivfabrik , the StEG locomotive factory , the Floridsdorf locomotive factory and the Bohemian-Moravian Machine Factory . Individual copies also came from the kkStB workshop in Gmünd and from the Bromovský, Schulz & Sohn machine factory in Königgrätz . They were a little lighter than the 36 series tenders and could therefore hold more coal with almost the same total weight. They were mainly coupled to freight locomotives .
