Klaas Bakker (born April 22, 1926 in Amsterdam , † January 3, 2016 in Amstelveen ) was a Dutch football player .

Athletic career

Bakker started his career at the North Amsterdam club De Volewijckers . At the beginning of 1951, he moved to local rival Ajax Amsterdam together with Jan Hagenaars , with whom he also appeared in the Amsterdam city selection . In November 1955 he managed the feat of scoring all six Ajax goals in a 6-3 win against DOS Utrecht . In 1956 he qualified with the club for the newly created Eredivisie , he crowned the debut season with the championship title. He had played in all 34 games of the season. By the end of his career at the end of the season he had played 169 championship games, so he was included in the unofficial "Club van 100" (ie players with at least 100 championship games for Ajax). The offensive player had scored 37 goals.

In 1987 Bakker, who had succeeded as a transport company, took over the duties of the Ajax treasurer.
