Klaas Lodewyck
Klaas Lodewyck (born March 24, 1988 in Roeselare ) is a former Belgian cyclist .
Athletic career
In 2005, Klaas Lodewyck won the junior competition of the classic Omloop Het Volk . The next year he was successful on part of the Münsterland Tour. In the 2007 season he drove for the youth team Wielergroep Beveren 2000, with which he won a stage each at the Ronde de l'Oise and at Triptyque des Barrages .
In August 2014 it was announced that Lodewyck would take an indefinite break as a competitive cyclist due to heart problems. An operation followed. In December 2015, Lodewyck announced his final resignation from competitive cycling in order to switch to the sports management of BMC .
