Classic Philharmonic Stuttgart
The Stuttgart Classical Philharmonic is composed of musicians from German symphony orchestras and chamber music ensembles who work with Frieder Bernius . The orchestra plays on modern instruments, but the conductor and his musicians are particularly interested in stylistic differentiation. For performances of choral symphonic works in large cast, the Stuttgart Classical Philharmonic is the orchestral counterpart to the Stuttgart Chamber Choir . The Classic Philharmonic Stuttgart is at various festivals such as the Rheingau Music Festival , the European Music Festival Stuttgart, the International Festival Baden-Württemberg , the Festival " Wratislavia Cantans " in Wrocław (Poland), the Kassel Music Days, the Philharmonic Society Brussels, the Autumn Music Days Bad Urach and the Schumann Festival in Düsseldorf. The idea of creating an instrumental partner of equal quality to the Stuttgart Chamber Choir is not least due to the jointly recorded works, such as B. Brahms' A German Requiem and Mendelssohn's Elias have been confirmed. The latter recording won the Diapason d'or and the Pizzicato Supersonic Award.
