Klaus-Dieter Derow (born November 25, 1948 in Minden ) is a former German football player .

Career

The goalkeeper Klaus-Dieter Derow began his career at SV Porta Neesen . In 1976 he moved to SC Herford , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 1976 . He made his second division debut on August 14, 1976 in the 3-1 victory of Herford against SG Wattenscheid 09 . In the summer of 1978 Derow rose with the challenges in the newly created Oberliga Westfalen and managed direct promotion in the following season. Due to injury he had to end his career and became a coach. He looked after the SV Weser Leteln , the TuS Petershagen and the TuS Porta Westfalica .
