Klaus-Jörg Ruhl

Klaus-Jörg Ruhl (* 1945 in Meiningen ) is a German historian .

Life

Ruhl studied history, political science and art history at the Philipps University of Marburg and the Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg . In 1974 he was with Andreas Hillgruber at the Philosophical Faculty of the University of Freiburg with the dissertation Spain in the Second World War. Franco, the Falange and the Third Reich for Dr. phil. PhD. He completed his habilitation with the thesis Ordinance Subordination. Working women between economic growth and conservative ideology in the post-war period (1945–1963) . Then he was a private lecturer at the history seminar. Ruhl is the author and editor of numerous books.
