Klaus-Michael Vent

Klaus-Michael Vent (born March 14, 1957 in Stolberg (Rhineland) ) is a German author and writer of non-fiction and novels.

Life and education

After graduating from the Goethe-Gymnasium in Stolberg, he studied English and French for teaching (secondary level I and II) at RWTH Aachen from 1976 to 1982 and at the Sheffield City Polytechnic in England from 1980 to 1981 . He successfully completed his legal traineeship from 1983 to 1986 at grammar schools and vocational schools with the second state examination.

This was followed by training as an organization programmer at the Siemens School for Communication and Data Technology in Düsseldorf .

Since 1987 he has been an organizational programmer, system analyst and software developer in various companies in the insurance, stock exchange, education and publishing sectors. He worked as a teacher from 2004 to 2005, a. a. at the Goethe-Gymnasium in Stolberg.

Klaus-Michael Vent lives in Erkelenz today .

Work

Every year he wrote articles for the Jahrbuch Aktuell (Lexicon of the Present) from the Harenberg Verlag between 1997 and 2007 on the subjects of stock exchanges, computers, telecommunications and consumer electronics.

Under the pseudonym Michael Sullivan - which he has been using since 1975 - he writes horror and science fiction stories as well as westerns .

He wrote the numbers 534, 593, 596, 599 and 609 for the booklet series Terra Astra from Moewig Verlag .

At Atlantis Verlag he publishes various books, including a. the uncut version of Valerian the Mercenary .

He published number 395 ( Im Spukschloss ) in the booklet series Vampire Horror Novels published by Erich Pabel Verlag .

He writes articles, reviews and short stories for the First German Fantasy Club .
