Klaus-Otto Zirkler

Klaus-Otto Zirkler (born December 8, 1946 in Sangerhausen ) is a former German politician ( LDPD and FDP ).

Life

education and profession

Zirkler earned the Abitur at the Extended High School in Sangerhausen . From 1965 to 1971 he studied veterinary medicine at the Humboldt University of Berlin and was established in 1985 with the thesis The influence of the floor design in various pathological-anatomical changes in the proximal joints of meat pig for Dr. med. vet. PhD. From 1973 to 1986 he worked as a veterinarian in the Sangerhausen district and from 1986 to 1990 he was deputy official veterinarian at the Sangerhausen district office. After 1990 he ran his own practice as a veterinarian in Sangerhausen.

politics

Zirkler belonged to the LDPD since 1968 . In February 1990 he became a member of the LDPD party executive committee and the executive committee of the Federation of Free Democrats (BFD).

In March 1990 , Zirkler was elected to the People's Chamber for the BFD in the Halle constituency. He had been a member of the FDP since August 1990 and in October 1990 he was one of the 144 members of the Bundestag sent by the People's Chamber . He was a member of the Bundestag until December 1990.
