Klaus-Peter Flosbach (2013)

Klaus-Peter Flosbach (born January 8, 1952 in Wipperfürth ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and was directly elected member of the Bundestag for the Oberbergischer Kreis .

Life and work

After graduating from the Engelbert-von-Berg-Gymnasium Wipperfürth , Flosbach completed a degree in business administration at the University of Cologne , which he completed in 1979 with a degree in business administration . He then worked as an employee in a financial company until he became self-employed as a business consultant in 1992.

Klaus-Peter Flosbach is Catholic , married and has three children.

Political party

Flosbach joined the CDU in 1972 and was initially involved in the Junge Union , whose district chairman in the Oberbergischer Kreis he was from 1979 to 1982. He was treasurer from 1989 to 1995 and has been chairman of the CDU district association in Oberberg since 1995.

MP

Flosbach was a member of the city council of Wipperfürth from 1979 to 1982 and has been a member of the district council of the Oberbergischer Kreis since 1999 .

From 2002 he was a member of the Finance Committee of the Bundestag. From January 2011 to January 2014, Flosbach was the financial policy spokesman for the CDU / CSU parliamentary group. From January 2014 he was Chairman of the Parliamentary Financial Market Committee. He is a member of the parliamentary committee of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group .

Klaus-Peter Flosbach always moved into the Bundestag as a directly elected member of the Oberbergischer Kreis constituency . In the 2013 Bundestag election he received 52.2% of the first votes .
