Klaus Peter Schweizer (born November 18, 1951 in Ulm ) is a German singer and musician .

Life

Klaus-Peter Schweizer made his musical beginnings in the 1970s in the Krautrock band Prof. Wolfff . In the early 1980s he released two solo albums under his name. During this creative phase he first drew attention to himself with the title Frankfurter Schnee . He had his greatest success in autumn 1987 under the band name Schweizer with the single 13 days . This Munich group also included Sabine Bundschu (vocals and keyboards) and Hannes Eitner (drums). In the following years they had a few more airplay hits before the group split in the early 1990s.

It was not until 2004 that Klaus-Peter Schweizer gave a musical sign of life with the title Ich hab frei again. In 2012 he published some tracks, again under the name Schweizer, which were produced together with Romi Schickle, with whom he already played with Prof. Wolfff. In 2014, for the first time in 24 years, a full Swiss album was released.
