Klaus Dämmrich

Klaus Dämmrich (born May 15, 1932 in Crimmitschau ; † January 20, 2008 in Berlin ) was a German veterinarian and university professor.

Life

Klaus Dämmrich studied veterinary medicine and was on the 1958 Free University of Berlin with anatomical Pathology and -histologischen studies on bone, kidney and parathyroid glands of dogs with kidney disease to Dr. med. vet. PhD . In 1966 he completed his habilitation at the Free University and took over a professorship for general pathology and pathological anatomy and histology at the Institute for Veterinary Pathology.

Dämmrich taught in the veterinary medicine department of the Free University until he retired in 2007. He lived in Berlin-Wannsee until his death .

Klaus Dämmrich died in Berlin in 2008 at the age of 75. His grave is in the Wannsee II cemetery . A boulder serves as a grave marker.
