Klaus E. Müller

Klaus E. Müller (born January 6, 1935 in Dortmund ) is a German ethnologist .

Klaus E. Müller studied music and theater studies , philosophy , opera directing , ethnology and Turkish studies with a specialization in Islamic studies and Mongolian studies . From 1971 until his retirement in 2004, Müller was Professor of Ethnology at the University of Frankfurt am Main . In addition, until 2004 he was a fellow at the Institute for Cultural Studies in Essen at the Science Center North Rhine-Westphalia and at the Hanse Science College Delmenhorst .

Müller deals with the history of ethnography, the ethnology of the gender conflict and with the elementary forms of social behavior. The new ethno-pedagogy is one of them.
