Klaus Goedecke

Klaus Goedecke (born December 8, 1939 in Suhl ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and a former member of the Thuringian state parliament.

Life and work

After two years of training as a machine fitter, Goedecke worked in this profession from 1955 to 1963. Between 1959 and 1965 he attended technical schools, which he left as an industrial foreman (1962) and as a technician (1965). From 1963 he worked as a technologist for 21 years. During this time he completed an engineering school and became an engineer-economist. From 1984 to 1990 he worked as a project engineer and until 1994 as chairman of the works council. Goedecke is married and has five children.

politics

Goedecke joined the SPD in 1990. In the second electoral period ( 1994 to 1999) he was a member of the Thuringian state parliament . Goedecke held the function of chairman of the SPD city council group in Suhl until 1994. He was then elected deputy chairman of his party for the Suhl district association.
