Klaus Hecker

Klaus Hecker (born December 22, 1929 in Mannheim ; † February 19, 2019 in Nordhausen ) was a German politician from Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen .

Hecker was a qualified engineer by profession. He joined the Greens in 1979. Hecker was elected to the German Bundestag in 1983 via the state list of Hesse , but left parliament again on August 31, 1983 because he had sexually harassed female employees. Until he left, he was chairman of the Committee on Education, Research and Technology Assessment . His successor in the Bundestag was Milan Horáček .
