Klaus Heller (Germanist)

Klaus Heller (* 1940 ) is a German specialist in German .

Klaus Heller studied German , music education and psychology and received his doctorate from the University of Leipzig . From 1974 to 1991 he worked as a research assistant at the Central Institute for Linguistics of the Academy of Sciences in Berlin . From 1992 to 2004 he was a research assistant at the Institute for the German Language in Mannheim .

He was a member of the Intergovernmental Commission for German Spelling, which has since been dissolved, and was managing director of its office at the Institute for German Language in Mannheim from 1997 to 2004 .
