Klaus Letzgus

Klaus Letzgus (born March 26, 1940 in Stuttgart ) is a German lawyer and was State Secretary in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania from 1992 to 1996 .

biography

After attending school in Stuttgart, Klaus Letzgus studied law at various universities from 1959 to 1963 with the second state examination in Stuttgart in 1969. He was awarded a doctorate in 1971 in Freiburg im Breisgau. jur. PhD. Letzgus then initially worked in the automotive industry, moved to the management of the CH Beck publishing house in 1974 and was State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice, Federal and European Affairs from 1992 to 1994 and in the Ministry of the Interior of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania from 1994 to 1996. He also worked as a lecturer and honorary professor at various universities. He was one of the co-founders of the New Journal for Criminal Law (NStZ).

Letzgus is a member of the CSU .
