Klaus Richter (* 1955 in Hof (Saale) ) is a German visual artist and curator.

He has lived in Düsseldorf since 1969. From 1975 to 1982 he studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy with lecturers Peter Kleemann, Professor Fritz Schwegler and Professor Alfonso Hüppi , whose master class he is. From 1984 to 1988 he took mime and acting lessons. Since 1984 he has realized numerous sculpture projects in public and private space, as well as photo and theater productions. Since 2010 he has been the curator and deputy head of the Kulturforum Alte Post Neuss / Städtische Galerie. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions and performances at home and abroad. Klaus Richter is married to the artist Hedwig Rogge (* 1965 in Bonn).
