Klaus Rogall

Klaus Rogall (born August 10, 1948 in Hagen , Westphalia) is a German lawyer and university professor .

Life

After high school in 1967 in Hagen and the military service in the Bundeswehr 1967 to 1969 he studied 1969-1974 jurisprudence . After the First State Examination in 1974, he worked from 1974 to 1977 as a research assistant at the Institute for Criminal Law at the University of Bonn at the chair of Hans-Joachim Rudolphi . From 1975 to 1977 he was a trainee service in the OLG district of Cologne . In 1976 he received his doctorate . In 1977 the second state examination took place. Afterwards he was a research assistant at the criminal law institute of the University of Bonn in 1977/78 (Rudolphi chair).

From 1978 to 1987 he was a consultant at the Federal Ministry of Justice , Bonn, (most recently as a government director ). In 1981 he worked as an exchange officer at the Ministère de la Justice in Paris .

In 1986 he completed his habilitation at the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Bonn. In 1987 he was appointed university professor ( C 3 ) at the University of Cologne . From 1987 to 1989, Rogall was a member of the Federal Government's Interministerial Working Group on the Reform of Environmental Criminal Law . In 1990 he was appointed university professor (C 4) at the Free University of Berlin .

In 1995 , he turned down an offer for a professorship with salary regulations C 4 at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz .

He is married and has two children. Rogall has been a member of the Catholic student union KDStV Bavaria Bonn since 1969 .
