Klaus Schaper

Klaus Schaper (* 1947 in Gelsenkirchen ) was a research associate at the Faculty of Social Science at the Ruhr University Bochum until 2010 .

Klaus Schaper taught social policy and social economics at the Ruhr University. His specialist publications have established themselves as standard textbooks. In the field of social economics he is an advocate of (post) Keynesianism and a sharp critic of the current neoliberal mainstream. He is close to the teaching of the US Nobel Prize winner Paul Krugman .
