Klaus Schendzielorz (born March 24, 1941 ) is a former German football player who was active for BSG Stahl Eisenhüttenstadt in 1969/70 in the GDR Oberliga , the top division of GDR football .

Athletic career

It was not until the age of 26 that Klaus Schendzielorz began his career in high-class football. In the 1967/68 season he came to the Betriebsportgemeinschaft (BSG) Stahl in Eisenhüttenstadt and played 15 of 30 point games in the second-rate GDR league . In the next season he was already part of the player base when he was used in 29 league games. This made him one of the most important players who fought for promotion to the GDR league. As a player in defense, Schendzielorz was also part of the player base in the 1969/70 league season with 25 appearances in 26 point games. In addition, he also played a league game with the 2nd team in the GDR league. Since the league team did not manage to stay up and the GDR football association accused BSG Stahl of serious violations of the association's statutes, the previous league team was transferred to the third-class district league Frankfurt (Oder) . Stahl Eisenhüttenstadt ended with Schendzielorz the district league season in 1971 as district champion and promoted to the GDR league. This played from the 1971/72 season with five seasons, each with 22 games to be completed. Schendzielorz played 14 league games and was involved in qualifying for the league promotion round. He was used in seven of the eight promotion games, but his team missed the return to the league as third among the five applicants. As a 31-year-old, Schendzielorz started his last season in the higher-class game in 1972 and only played five games in the GDR league in 1972/73. Then he had a record of 25 Oberliga and 64 GDR league games. As a defender, he was left without a goal.
