Klaus Seifert (journalist)

Klaus Seifert (* 1941 in Schirgiswalde ; † January 22, 2013 in Unna ) was a German journalist .

Life

After attending secondary school and a grammar school in Aachen , he volunteered at the Aachener Volkszeitung . He received his journalistic training from Emil Dovifat, among others . From 1963 to 2003 he was an editor at Hellweger Anzeiger in Unna. He worked as a local editor, from 1967 he headed the local editorial office and became deputy editor-in-chief, from 1978 he was editor-in-chief of the paper. From 1990 to 2003 he was also editor-in-chief of the Döbelner Anzeiger (see also Döbelner Anzeiger (newspaper) #History ). He retired in 2003 and then worked as a science journalist and author. He volunteered in the Forum Generations Unna and in the Unna history workshop. Seifert was married, had a daughter and lived in this city.
