Klecina (German Klettendorf ) is a district of Wroclaw in the district Krzyki ( Krietern ) and belongs to the city of Wroclaw since 1,951th

In the former suburb of Klettendorf there was one of the most important sugar factories until 1945 , in which the fine sugar Klettendorfer refined sugar , known throughout Germany and in neighboring countries , was produced. The factory operating under the names Vom Rath, Schoeller & Skene had grown through mergers with other sugar factories in the district of Breslau .

In 1322 Nikolaus von Banz acquired the Klettendorf estate.

With the introduction of the district order for the provinces of Prussia, Brandenburg, Pomerania, Posen, Silesia and Saxony on December 13, 1872, the district of Klettendorf No. 18 was formed from the rural communities Hartlieb, Kleinburg, Klettendorf, Krieter and Kundschütz and the Hartlieb estate. In 1936 Paul Hartmann was mayor of Klettendorf. The town's mayor, Eugen Pfanz, was shot on February 6, 1945, as he had fled from the approaching Russians.

In 1939 Klettendorf had 2936 inhabitants.

The Catholic parish church of St. Mariae was first mentioned in a document from Bishop Thomas I from 1254.

Klecina is located on the Wrocław – Jedlina – Zdrój railway, which is only operated as a freight train .
