Small moated castle
Klein Wasserburg is part of the municipality of Münchehofe ( Dahme-Spreewald district ) with 16 inhabitants.
The place is a few hundred meters south of the federal highway 179 on the northwestern edge of the Spreewald biosphere reserve . While the area south of Klein Wasserburg is used for agriculture, there are extensive forest areas north of the village.
The Federal Forestry Office Havel-Oder-Spree of the Federal Forests division of the Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks is now located in the building of the former Oberförsterei Klein Wasserburg .
