The Small Momella Lake is the second largest in the Momella Lakes in Arusha National Park in Tanzania . It is located in the northeast of the national park and is filled with water all year round. It was formed as a result of the last major eruption of Mount Meru about 6000 years ago. The Small Momella Lake is mainly fed by groundwater.
