history

The museum reopened on November 18, 2008 after two years of reconstruction work. With the help of funds from EU funds and the museum's donor, Bratislavský kraj , the museum building and the museum's cellars were reconstructed.

In the basement, the museum shows an exhibition with - according to its own information - the largest collection of wine presses in Central Europe, occasional exhibitions, a workshop for schools, as well as the opportunity to taste small Carpathian wines.

The museum occasionally organizes exhibitions abroad, such as the exhibition "Vineyards, Wine, People", which was presented in September 2005 in the European Parliament in Strasbourg and later in Vienna and Milotice in the Czech Republic.
