Cleobule (daughter of Aiolus)

Cleobule ( ancient Greek Κλεοβούλη ) is a female figure in Greek mythology .

Cleobule's father is called Aiolos or Aipolos. She became Hermes' lover and bore him Myrtilus , who acted as the charioteer of King Oinomaos , but treacherously caused the death of his master in his chariot race against Pelops . In other versions of the saga, the mother of Myrtilos has other names.
