The Knardrup Abbey (conventus regalis curiae) is the youngest medieval Cistercian monastery in Denmark and one of the spätesten high medieval religious foundations.

The monastery was located northwest of Copenhagen between Ganløse and Måløv.
history
The monastery was shortly before 1326 by King Christopher II. On the royal estate Knardrupgaard as a daughter monastery of Kloster Soro from the filiation of Clairvaux and esrum abbey built and settled in February 1326 by monks from Soro. The monastery existed until 1536 when it was confiscated as a crown property and given to the University of Copenhagen. The building materials were later used to build Frederiksborg Castle . Today the monastery grounds are partially built over.
