The Knappane ( Norwegian for buttons ) are a series of separated and rocky mountain peaks in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . They tower west of the Nålegga on the west side of the Borg massif .
Norwegian cartographers named them and mapped them on the basis of aerial photographs and surveys of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952).
