The Knappen (Norwegian for button ) is a 220 m high hill on the Prince Harald Coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises on the Skarvsnes peninsula immediately east of the Osen Bay on the east bank of the Lützow-Holm Bay .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped it using aerial photographs of the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
