Kink neck lute
Angled neck sounds are lutes with the body for the next short neck and a bent back peg box . In a narrower sense, the lute that came to Europe from around the 10th century is called this.
Kink neck lutes are a special form of the short neck lute, which in turn contrasts with the long neck lute with a straight long neck. According to the Hornbostel-Sachs system , all belong to the neck lute. A division according to the shape of the neck is not made there.
