The Knight International Center is a convention center in the US city ​​of Miami in the state of Florida .

Buildings and use

The center was designed in the 1980s and built from 1980 to 1982. In October 1982, the James L. Knight Center Complex opened. The center is owned by Miami-Dade County and operated by SMG Property Management. The facility was renovated in 1997 and 2005. The construction of the complex will cost around ten million US dollars . The conference center is close to the Miami River and Bayfront Park . Schools and shopping centers are right next to the complex. There are three parts of buildings and twelve buildings in the Knight International Center:
