action

King Arthur's singing sword was stolen by the Black Knight. The knights of the round table are not very enthusiastic about retrieving the sword, as the Black Knight is in possession of a fire-breathing dragon . Also jester Bugs Bunny thinks dancing that only a fool would want to bring back the sword, and King Arthur then sends him off as fools. If he fails to get the singing sword back, he faces several gruesome deaths.

Bugs makes his way to the castle of the Black Knight, who sleeps deeply and now and then has trouble with his constantly fire-sneezing dragon. Bugs easily takes the sword, but in the castle wonders why it is called the "singing sword" - promptly the sword begins to sing Cuddle Up a Little Closer, Lovely Mine with a squeaky little voice . The Black Knight awakens and pursues Bugs Bunny on his kite. Bugs can escape into a rabbit hole and fend off later attempts to catch them from the Black Knight's castle. The pursuit finally ends after Bugs traps the knight and dragon in a room full of explosives. The dragon sneezes and the entire tower shoots towards the moon due to the explosions. The singing sword softly intones Aloha ʻOe .
