Knut Blin (* 22. December 1968 in Hamburg , † 26. May 2004 ) was a German professional boxer in the heavyweight division . He was the son of ex-European champion Jürgen Blin .

As an amateur, Blin completed 55 fights and became German Junior Champion in 1986. A little later he signed a contract with Universum Box-Promotion and made his debut with the professionals in May 1987. His trainers were Horst Nalbach and Eckhard Dagge . After a series of eight victories, he fought on November 16, 1990 against Mario Guedes for the International German Championship. Blin won the title after Guedes suffered a broken rib in the first round after a body hit and finally gave up the fight after the sixth round. This title win should be his last fight.

A little later he entered a free Christian community. He canceled a comeback planned for 1994 shortly before the fight and then finally ended his career. On May 26, 2004, Knut Blin threw himself from the twelfth floor of a psychiatric clinic on Lake Constance and was instantly dead.
