Knut Andreassen Holst (born December 3, 1884 in Hokksund , † February 4, 1977 in Øvre Eiker ) was a Norwegian skier who mainly competed in the Nordic combined .

Career

Holst, who started for the Eiker Ski and Ball Club in Buskerud , won the first ever Norwegian championship in combination at the first Norwegian championship in 1909 in Lillehammer . Also at the Norwegian Championship in Hønefoss in 1911 , Holst won the combined singles title ahead of Otto Tangen and Johan Kristoffersen . A short time later, he and Tangen were awarded the Holmenkollen Medal .

Holst was married and had a son. He died at the age of 92 in Øvre Eiker and was buried there on February 10, 1977.
