Otto Tangen (born January 28, 1886 , † October 13, 1956 ) was a Norwegian Nordic combined .

Life

Tangen, who competed for the IF Liv in Hønefoss , won the silver medal behind Knut Holst in the Nordic Combined at the Norwegian Nordic Ski Championships in his home country in 1911 . Together with Holst, he was awarded the Holmenkollen Medal a little later .

Tangen was also active as a skier in the military. In 1909, for example, he was part of a Norwegian military patrol under the direction of Finn Qvale in France .
