Knut Tore Berland (born December 7, 1964 ) is a Norwegian biathlon trainer and former biathlete.

Knut Tore Berland started for Buskerud . In 1992 he won the silver medal in the relay race at the national championships in Skrautvål together with Ole Einar Bjørndalen , Nils Anders Lien and Dag Bjørndalen . Also in 1994 in Trondheim he won the season silver with Ole Einar Bjørndalen, Dag Bjørndalen and Frode Andresen . The season in the same composition was third in 1995 in Fet .

Berland has been a biathlon trainer since the early 1990s. In 2008 he was appointed coach of the Norwegian women's national team, succeeding Audun Svartdal . The greatest success of his tenure was Tora Berger's Olympic victory at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver . After two years in the position of head coach, he left this position after the 2009/10 season in order to be able to devote more time to his family. He was succeeded by Egil Gjelland .
